South Indian based, high profile Gym, Fitness One is planning to add 7 more centers this year. Currently it has 8 health clubs operational in Bangalore / Bengalooru, Chennai and Coimbatore.
Cost of setting up each center is 1.5 crore. It will have its presence in Hyderabad, Mumbai and Trivananthpuram by the end of 2007. The company is also in talks with various IT and ITeS companies to establish its centers on Build Own and Transfer model. It is also weighing other options of franchising out in tier-2 and tier-3 cities.
