Kishore Biyani, the retail man of India has clicked his dream and has unveiled Foto Depot – Retail Photography related store. Foto Depot stores will have a Studio where photos will be clicked, Kitchen the process lab and the front end kiosk where images could be transferred from digital media and sent for printing.
It doesn’t matter what format [old photo, negatives, etc] and form [USB, Digital Camera, Kodak Roll, etc] you can always print and transform to whatever you like. Customers can also print photos on T-Shirt, Mugs etc. Glamour Photography and Portraits will also be served in some Foto Depots. Silicon Valley’s HP is powering Foto Depot’s Kitchen.
Foto Depot will operate in two formats – independent store and shop-in-shop concept. Future Group plans to have 25 depots within the next 6 months. Sure, Mr. Biyani is dreaming big and is able to transform his dreams into various pictures.
