Manipal Cure and Care [MCC] – A Health and Wellness Retail chain from the Pais of Manipal group has opened its first outlet in Kormangala, Bangalore. Manipal Cure is going on its own after it broke ties with Pantaloon Retail.
They plan to have 50 of their own centers by 2011. They have also introduced sub-brands Mask, Smile, Xpresscare and Foot Solutions. These are likely to be operated on a franchisee model.
The Bangalore outlet is spread on a 10,500 sft area and also has skin care brand Dermalogica. MCC centers are open for 7 days and have consultant doctors in general medicines, dermatology, dentistry, paediatrics, gynecology, ophthalmology, endocrinology and lab medicines.
MCC also provides health check-up for diabetes, liver, lung, eye, joint and kidney problems, STD screening and dietary counselling.
