Kingfisher Airlines known for its Luxury and flamboyancy with credit of exclusive swimsuit calendar in the entire corporate India has started lifestyle retailing on its flights in association with watchmaker Hubolt.
Kingfisher will sell a special limited edition watches made for its customers on board. The watche is sold under the brand name Big Bang King. Mr. Vijay Mallya, Chairman of Kingfisher, said,
We will produce a strictly limited range of timepieces exclusively for the first class passengers of Kingfisher Airlines on domestic as well as international routes.
The company may later make these watches available in High End Luxury Retail Malls at a later stage. Co-incidentally, Mallya’s UB City Mall is a Luxury Retail destination in Bangalore,India.
We have been told that only 50 Big Bang Watches watches are for sale and each of them is priced at $12,000. Hubolt also evinced interest for retail tie-up with Indian Premier League teams.
