Retailing has so deeply influenced the Indian businesmen, that now we have Amara Raja Battery announcing setting up chain of Retail stores named as – Powerzone. The idea is to cater to the growing need of battery technology in rural India.
Through Powerzone, Amar Raja will sell special economy range of automotive batteries, inverters, UPS, batteries for your home office, etc. The Powerzone batteries are designed to offer value for money. Going forward these stores will also sell other electrical appliances sourced from various manufacturers under the brand Powerzone.
Amar Raja will setup 50 stores by the end of this month and another 450 stores by the end of FY08 said company sources. Their aim is to have at least one outlet in every taluk of India
