Wills Lifestyle & Estee Lauder offer personal stylist and makeover help to high-end regular customer. Espirit India is toying with the idea of in-store Salons and Spas. UCB is offering free dry cleaning for Uomo brand suits.

It is important that retailers realize it is the service that will help them get loyal customers and should extend valuable service to every possible area of retailing, though you don’t have to pamper them with freebies as you move down the pyramid.

Indian Women like to chat and hangout while shopping, hence a lounge area would be suitable for such shoppers. The greater the time they hang-out, chances are they’ll spend more in the store. Can you recall the old baniya ordering for cold drinks / tea in bollywood movies while selling stuff to premium customers in his town 😉
