ITC Choupal Fresh, the neighborhood retailer of Fresh Vegetables and Fruits is all set to expand. The company is planning to open 140 stores in 54 towns over the next 3 years [Not a very ambitious expansion plan].
ITC is banking on its subsidiary, ITC-Agri Business for the backend operations. The end-to-end effort includes focus on demos, crop calendar, enhancing farm productivity and cold chain support.

Reliance Fresh will be shortly opening its stores in Delhi NCR, Chennai and few more in Hyderabad.
