Provogue sets eyes on Personal Care Products

Lifestyle Retailer, Provogue has set its eyes on personal Care products and exclusive stores for Women. Provogue plans to bring out its products by March-08. Separately, the company is at an advanced stage of negotiations to bring its exclusive stores for women and accessories.

Provogue, President, Bipin Gurnani said,

The entry into personal care category is part of our brand extension strategy. We believe that the segment has great potential. The increasing high disposable income with working women has also given a fillip to this segment. We are currently doing a Pilot of personal care products at some of our stores. Full range shall be introduced by March.

Personal Care retailing in India is estimated to be worth Rs 25,000 crore and is among the fastest growing segments. Provogue which is mostly present in the Western market now plans to open 16 stores in the North and make its presence felt.
