Trent – the lifestyle retailer under the brand name Westside has opened a new value format fashion store for business under the brand name – Fashion Yatra. The first Fashion Yatra store was inaugurated by Ms Siomone Tata at Metro Junction Mall in Kalyan, Mumbai. She said,
The strength of Trent Ltd lies in being able to provide our customers garments that suit their specific needs. Fashion Yatra is our newest venture to provide customers really fashionable choices at great prices.
In a separate development, Max Hypermarket India, subsidiary of Dubai based Landmark Group is on an expansion spree. The company plans to invest Rs 100 crore in developing four more hypermarkets and supermarkets. It also operates supermarkets under the brand name Spar. Each Max Hypermarket will be approximately between 70,000 – 100,000 sft in size, while the Spar supermarket size will vary between 20,000 to 30,000 sft.
