Siyram Silk Mills plans to launch 150 Retail Outlets in India. Siyram’s retail format will be known as F2F stores.
The F2F stores will stock Oxemberg, Mistair and J Hampstead under one roof. The stores will be located in Malls and will be launched in tier-ii cities such as Surat, Indore and Udaipur for mid priced suitings and fabrics. The stores are expected to be mere 1,500 to 2,000 sft in size.
Siyram recently launched a new brand, Monday to Sunday [MSD] Dressing.
With the retail bug having bitten every business house, it would have been better had Siyram thought of economies of scale by joint operations with either Pantaloon or some other retailer.
