Customer is King – Big Bazaar

Pantaloon Retail’s Big Bazaar is setting up Customer Advisory Boards. Big Bazaar is the largest chain in the hypermarket format and far more localised than any of its competitors.

Mr. Damodar, Director Customer care at Future Group said,

We are doing this to get closer to customers and give them a platform to voice their opinions about the stores.

The Customer Advisory Board initiative has been launched in two Big Bazaar stores at Mumbai. Local professionals like Doctors, Lawyers and influential people will be on the board and customers can voice their opinion through the board. The board in turn will recommend store managers and be incentivised through special discounts at Big Bazaar.

Kishore Biyani, the Father of Modern Retail in India is truly living up to the expectations of the Father of the Nation, M.K. Gandi in serving customers.
