Luxury leather and fur brand, Fendi is all set to expand its presence in India. Currently, they are present in prestigious Inter-continental hotel Taj Mahal in Mumbai.
Mr. Ganes Francious, Country Head, Fendi, said,
Fendi entered India in 2003, with our first 3,000 sft boutique in Taj Mahal hotel. Our plan for India is to have presence across all major cities in the country within the next 5 years.
The company intends to set up more stores in Mumbai followed by New Delhi / NCR, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai and Kolkatta. We have reliably learnt that the stores in Bangalore and Delhi will be open by next year. Fendi was in negotiation with UB Group to house its store inside the prestigious UB City which is housing exclusive luxury brands from across the globe.
Fendi has its roots in Rome where it was founded by a couple in 1925 as a handbag company.
