Indians embracing Premium Brands

As we have already said in our past coverage that the retailers are now shifting their focus towards premium brands, Murjani, Global Indian retailer who made his name big in the fashion corridors of New York has echoed the same. The Murjani group was instrumental in building world’s leading brands such as Gloria Vanderbilt and Tommy Hilfiger.

Mr. Mohan Murjani, Chairman of Murjani group said,

India’s time has arrived. It is absolutely ready. The Indian consumer expects the same products that they see in the international markets. We will sell here what we are selling everywhere. They will get exactly same design and range as they see elsewhere.

Currently the Murjani group is selling its products to more than 350 outlets in the country. The company is now focusing on its own retail chain to market world’s best products to Indians.
