Coca-Cola India, the Indian subsidiary of Coca Cola Company has caught the retailing fever in India. They are all set to launch retail chain of beverage outlets under the brand name “Red Lounge” in India. The lounge will offer the entire range of beverages from the company’s portfolio.
Red Lounge will be a one-stop shop for the Smart Indian youth to chill out. The first Red Lounge outlet will come in the Pune. Red Lounge will have a Red ambiance and have LCD TV, Video Games and Computers with Internet access.
The company which is facing the heat from Pepsi is taking no chance and has also launched a web marketing initiative – MyEnjoyZone. MyEnjoyZone is not very popular in India, however the company can target Social Networks to target and market their products.
