Reliance Fresh has sealed a deal with international wine major – Diageo. Diageo will sell its international portfolio of wines through Reliance Fresh outlets in India.
Mr. Adil, Director of Diageo India Ltd said,
We are in talks with three major retailers in India to distribute our wine. We have already tied up with Reliance Fresh and will harness the strength of two major players in the liquor industry and the retail segment.
The other retailers could include – Big Bazaar / Food Bazaar, Hypercity from the Raheja group and More Retail from the Aditya Birla Group.
Reliance Fresh will sell two of Diageo’s brands – Blossom Hill and California wine. Hopefully they winn introduce the taste of Napa Valley wine to Indians 🙂
