Reliance retail has unveiled its plans for the niche home furnishing segment. The chain will be known as Reliance Living Furnishings. Reliance is developing its own 3-tiered private labels for the foray – Home One, My Home and My Home Premium. The first store is open for business in Delhi NCR with 120 products ranging from bed, bath, textiles, curtains & cushions, flooring, table decors etc.
Mr. Manu Kapur, Business Head of Home Furnishing said,
There is no fixed target on the number of stores that we intend to setup. However, Reliance will continue its focus into the niche retail segment.
The company hopes to open more than 5 stores by the end of this fiscal. Pantaloon Retail’s Home Solutions is the current large chain operating in this vertical.
